GainingEdge was engaged to carry out extensive market research on the Grand Duchy’s potential in the business events sector and to make recommendations concerning the restructuring of the local business events industry, resulting in the creation of a National Convention Bureau. In the wake of the strategic planning process, GainingEdge was retained to set up the new bureau and recruit a new CEO, as well as the majority of the sales and marketing staff.
Additionally, GainingEdge was asked to provide leads development support so the bureau could proactively identify and leverage opportunities to bid and win the right to host regional and international association meetings, with a focus on specific industry clusters.
