GainingEdge was engaged to develop the best model for establishing stronger MICE capabilities in these designated MICE cities: Bangkok, Chiang Mai, Pattaya, Phuket and Khon Kaen. The study addressed key issues related to the development of domestic and international market capabilities. As part of the review, structural and funding model recommendations were made to build local capabilities.
In 2016, GainingEdge supported Khon Kaen to workshop some ideas for a business events brand that will leverage and highlight this provincial city’s strengths.
In 2020, GainingEdge benchmarked four Thai MICE cities against 15 Asian Pacific cities that fall within three different competitive sets in a 2020 Competitiveness Report.
