Goyang Destination Week is the first international event that focuses on MICE destination within the Asia-Pacific region. The event is hosted by Goyang City in order to grow as the central MICE city of Asia. It is a triple-helix event, where the city government, MICE organizers, and the MICE industry come together. By leading new innovations concerning MICE destinations and finding new opportunities to revitalize urban competitiveness and local economy, the event strives to be renown as a leading MICE event.
Goyang Destination Week celebrated its 6th anniversary at the 2022 events, with the theme “Culture, Tourism and City”, dealing with the present situation and the role of cities in the post-COVID-19 era.
